Like every team over the last few weeks, the Chicago Bears have been busy dialing up pre-draft visits with various top prospects. However, Top-30 visits are also a great opportunity to meet with, and scout, potential undrafted free agents as well.
After the draft ends next Saturday, it's an all out free for all with teams looking to sign UDFAs to finish rounding out the 90-man roster heading into the summer.
In the mix of meeting with top prospects in the class, the Bears also held Top-30 visits with four potential UDFA targets. Keep an eye on these names after the draft ends.
Dontae Fleming, WR Tulane
A few days back, I wrote more extensively on the Tulane WR and his interest from the Bears. Dontae Fleming transferred to Tulane from Louisiana in 2023 and posted a career-best season in 2024 totaling 31 receptions and 598 receiving yards.
Fleming was listed as 6'2 but only 167 pounds via ESPN. Clearly, he'll need to pack some weight on before transitioning to the NFL, but he does have a slight connection on the Bears staff in Dan Roushar, who served as Tulane's OL coach in 2024. Fleming offers some intriguing value on special teams as well.
Beaux Collins, WR Notre Dame
Another UDFA option at the wide receiver position is Beaux Collins. Collins has had an overall much stronger process after being invited to the NFL Scouting Combine where he measured in at 6'3, 201 pounds.
Collins has the physical size and showed great body control during his time with the Irish. In 2024, he recorded 41 receptions, 490 yards and three touchdowns. Prior to joining Notre Dame, he was a consistent producer at Clemson. Something that will appeal to head coach Ben Johnson is Collins' ability to block at the WR position.

Addison West, IOL Western Michigan
On the interior of the offensive front, keep an eye on Addison West being a guy added to bring depth in the locker room. West mainly played guard in college but also got experience in at center against Ohio State during the 2024 season.
Overall, he allowed zero sacks and only two total pressures during the entire season while playing 367 pass blocking snaps. According to Pro Football Focus, West's 90.5 pass blocking grade was tied for the 2nd-best among all FBS interior offensive linemen in 2024. He's a fascinating target and would be a steal if he goes undrafted.
The Bears are bringing in Western Michigan OL Addison West for a 30 visit per @Eric_Edholm. He's played mostly guard in college but was at center vs OSU this year when their starting C got hurt and held his own. At 6'2.5 & 300 pounds C is probably his best position in the NFL pic.twitter.com/8GK4Epj1Wp

John Williams, OT Cincinnati
As for a bookend tackle on the left side with versatility, John Williams is the name to watch here. Williams turned a lot of heads at the Shrine Bowl. Along with the Bears, Williams also met with the Green Bay Packers.
Williams started 27 games at left tackle for Cincinnati but given his size, could also be moved to guard at the next level. He only allowed one sack and eight total pressures in 2024. As for a fun fact, Williams was also an aerospace engineering major, for those who like to have intelligent offensive linemen.
